This policy explains what personal data Wionsulting collects through this site, why, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law.
Data controller
Wionsulting, Paris, France. Contact: contact@wionsulting.com.
Data collected
Only what you enter in the contact form: first name, last name, company, role, work email, what you need, approximate budget, when you want to start and a description of your challenge. If you accept, Google Analytics also measures your visit: pages viewed, time spent, device, browser, approximate country and city, and the site you came from. None of this is collected if you refuse. This site uses no advertising tools. When you send the form, your message is emailed to our team and a confirmation is sent to the address you gave.
Purposes and legal bases
- Replying to your request and discussing a project: your consent and pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Following up a business relationship with professional contacts: Wionsulting’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Measuring visits to improve the site: your consent, given in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Retention
Your data is kept for three years from your last contact, then deleted, unless a contract is signed. Analytics data is kept for 14 months in Google Analytics.
Recipients and hosting
Your data is for Wionsulting only. It is never sold or rented. The website, the contact form and our email are hosted by Namecheap, Inc. (United States), which processes this data only to run the service. If you accept analytics, Google Ireland Limited receives the visit data described above, through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, with advertising features turned off. If you book a call, Calendly (Calendly LLC, United States) handles the booking under its own privacy policy; the site itself sends nothing to Calendly until you click the booking link. No other provider receives your information.
Transfers outside the EU
Because Namecheap is a US company, your data may be processed outside the European Union. This transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses included in Namecheap’s terms. Google may process analytics data in the United States under the EU and US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw consent at any time, including through “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. To exercise them, email us at the address above. We reply within one month.
For any complaint, write to us first at the same address. You also keep the right to contact the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and access to data is limited to the people who need it to handle your request.
