Nobody does it all with one tool

You’ll often hear that one piece of software is enough. In reality, teams that do well use about twenty to find contacts, spot interest, send messages and track sales.

Choosing them is easy. Getting them to work together isn’t. When a company shows interest, its details should fill in, a salesperson should be told and a message should go out, without anyone copying anything.

We see the same pattern again and again. A company buys a good tool for each job, then asks people to copy data between them. Within six months, the CRM is out of date, nobody trusts the reports and the tools get the blame.

Before buying anything new, map how a lead moves from first visit to signed contract, and mark every step where someone copies, pastes or forgets. Those gaps are where automation pays off first, and they usually need fewer tools, not more.
